School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Showcases TCM Practices at MH Wellness Fair
The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) showcased traditional practices at the MH Wellness Fair on 22 October 2026, organised by the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC).The booth featured herbal sachet-making, auricular acupressure and interactive activities on Chinese medicinal herbs. Visitors received complimentary herbal sachets, learned about their cultural significance and traditional uses, and explored TCM practices through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

STCM Honours Academic Excellence and Hosts Mid-Autumn Gala

XMUM Students Win Bronze at 12th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament
A team of undergraduate students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), won the Bronze Award in the International Track at the 2026 Grand Finals of the 12th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament & The Belt and Road International Competition, held on 16 August at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

The 10th White Coat Ceremony Marks New Chapter for TCM Students
The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM) held its 10th White Coat Ceremony on 27 June 2026 at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), marking an important milestone for Year 4 Bachelor of Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine students from the 2022/09 intake as they prepare for clinical placements in China.

School of TCM Launches the Nanqiang Xinglin Lecture Series
The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) launched the inaugural Nanqiang Xinglin Lecture Series (南强杏林讲座) on 1 July 2026 at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM).The first lecture, titled “Exploring the Academic Concept of Yang Activation Through Gui Zhi Tang” (从桂枝汤探讨通阳学术思想), was delivered by Prof. Dr Chen Shaodong, Dean of the School of TCM. The lecture aimed to promote the inheritance of TCM classics and strengthen academic exchange among lecturers and students.

The “Unity of the Five Elements, Journeying the Medical Path Together” two-day-one-night Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Camp, organized by the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Student Union (TCMSU), was successfully held from 16 to 17 May 2026.
