XMUM 10th Anniversary Special Feature | The Algorithm of Resilience
Studying at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), I have been deeply inspired by the legacy of our founder, Tan Kah Kee. XMUM Goes Global
Last September, XMUM English major Zeng Qiuying spent a semester at the University of Strathclyde in the UK through the university's Study Abroad Programme. XMUM Students Win Bronze at 12th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament
A team of undergraduate students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), won the Bronze Award in the International Track at the 2026 Grand Finals of the 12th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament & The Belt and Road International Competition, held on 16 August at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
CME Student Among Top Five at BEM Young Engineering Innovation Trophy 2026
A Year 4 Chemical Engineering undergraduate, Grace Theresa, represented Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) at the BEM Young Engineering Innovation Trophy 2026, held as part of the National Engineering Convention (NEC) 2026 and organised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She was shortlisted as one of 15 finalists under the Washington Accord Category and placed among the top five at the national competition.
Dr. Chong Sin Er Publishes in SSCI Q1 Journal
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Asst. Prof. Dr. Chong Sin Er from the School of Economics and Management, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on her recent publication of a research article in Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, an SSCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 2.7 and is ranked A in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List.Dr. Chong is the corresponding author of the article and collaborated with researchers from both Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
